From March 10th to March 20th, we will be hosting a fundraiser for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Friday, February 20th: Motivational video shown at performing arts / winter sports rally
Monday, March 10th: There will be 6 Introduction Assemblies. All english classes will come to the gym. Sami Gilbert, our honoree patient, will be coming from 4th to 6th period!
Friday, March 14th: Alex Lima and Alvin Lee are hosting a Lunchtime Activity: USB PRESIDENT & USB VICE PRESIDENT – “STUCK FOR A BUCK.” (& there will also be performances by “Children”)
Throughout the entire two weeks:
- USB (United Student Body) & ACS (American Cancer Society) will walk around during lunchtime to collect change.
- A box will be placed in each english class.
- There will be containers in the Student Store to collect change.
- We will also be selling raffle tickets for $1 each.
The English class that collects the most money will win a free pasta luncheon from Olive Garden.
The grade level that collects the most money will be given class points.
... but, remember, it is not about the prizes!
